History
Jean Paul Getty, founder of the Getty Oil Company, lived at 1678 Hennepin from around 1895-1905. He lived there with parents, George Franklin and Sarah Getty. After Jean Paul’s graduation from Emerson Grammar School, the family permanently moved from Minneapolis to Los Angeles. (Getty, J. Paul)
