Purchased by the current owner, the Alano Society of Minneapolis, Inc., in April, 1942. Opened on May 17, 1942 for Instruction Classes for recovering alcoholics. It is a meeting place for members of A.A. and Al-Anon. It has been in continuous operation longer than any other establishment, in a single location, for these purposes.

Connected two original buildings, main house and carriage house, with an auditorium.
Barn added in 1888 (since demolished).
