The Sibley House Historic Site includes the 1838 residence of Henry Hastings Sibley, a manager of the American Fur Company and later the first state governor of Minnesota. Also on the site are a fur company cold store from 1843 and the 1840 residence of fur trader Jean-Baptiste Faribault.
