Date of sit visit 3/1/1982 by Fieldworker: R. Younger
Significant details: "Tudor Revival dormitory has a four story square entrance tower constructed of random ashlar buff-colored limestone with buttresses and slight crenelation. Flanking this tower are two wide wings with intersecting chimneys with clustered chimney pots. First floor of central portion of buildingis also faced in buff-colored limestone. Slate tile roof Interior has a main lounge in the center with wood beam ceiling and a large fireplace."

Historical background: "This building was constructed for an estimated 175,000."Statement of significance: "An interesting Tudor Revival style building which is more like a house than the standard college dormitories built during the twentieth century."
