This house was moved to its present location in 1978 from 362 Smith Avenue. John McDonald began construction on the house in 1871 and finished in 1873. He is also credited with the construction of the Murray-Lanpher House at 35 Irvine Park and the Spencer House at 39 Irvine Park (razed).
