Notes: Complex plan, vertical emphasis. Wide overhanging eaves with exposed rafters, brackets. Large porch wraps around east and main facade has turned columns, dentils. Fishscale shingles in gabled ends. Some new stained glass. 2 story, 3 sided bay window on east side wall. 1st floor of main facade has very tall, narrow windows. Arched window with fanlight and 2 story, 3 sided bay window on west side. Weathervane on peak of roofline.

The original owner and first resident of this house was Frederick M. Grant, a "travel agent" (which could be either a travelling salesman or a travel agent). The house cost $5000 to construct. A delightful, large Victorian house which has been preserved well.
